A lifelong commitment to my own healing, through yoga, meditation, and the healing arts has deepened my ability to provide quality and profound care for you.  In my early twenties I had the unique opportunity to travel to India for six months. There I studied with spiritual scholars in the practices of meditation and yoga.  I also had the blessing of volunteering with the Missionaries Of Charity in Calcutta for 2 months.  I worked alongside Mother Theresa,  and for obvious reasons, this experience changed my life.  I came back to the states with a passion to help others, and a strong desire to cultivate peace in my own being and to help others achieve this same experience.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with an emphasis in physiology.  I have been certified and actively practicing massage therapy since 1993, over 20 years! I have provided therapeutic bodywork for hundreds of clients and given thousands of massages

spanning my career.  My bodywork reflects a wide variety of modalities, and I am confident that I have the experience and training to meet your specific health care needs.

I have come to appreciate the profound benefit that therapeutic massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and CranioSacral therapies provide for my clients.  Besides being an effective pain management modality or used  primarily to reduce stress,  they are very therapeutically important to your overall optimal health.   I love offering my clients increased mental clarity, physical ease and mobility,  restored relaxation, enhanced overall health,  and a more joyful and meaningful connection to life. It would be my honor to work with you, and allow you to receive the many wonderful benefits of therapeutic massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and CranioSacral Therapy.

I love living and working in the gold country.  I was fortunate enough to grow up in the beautiful Sierra foothills, and I am happy to be raising my children here as well.  Providing exceptional therapeutic bodywork in Auburn Since 2002 has been a wonderful privilege.

"Karen Wright is absolutely one of my very favorite massage therapists, not only for myself, but to refer friends and clients to for excellent bodywork. Karen is one of those practitioners who just knows how to put the client first and create an environment that is 100% about you and your healing. Her touch is comforting, restorative and nurturing, as well as therapeutic and just as deep or gentle as you need it."
